What You Need to Know to Leverage a “7 Year” to Full Capacity
According to yogic numerology, which is based on numerology as the mathematics of the universe, we are in the year of the 7 ( 2+ 2+ 3 = 7). What does this mean for you?
The keyword for a 7 year is Elevation. It aligns with the planet Neptune, which is associated with sensitivity, transcendence, and building a global family. This means we will be blessed with challenges and experiences that will require us to elevate our thoughts, along with moving out of the negative, complaining and moving into a more positive, allowing and accepting state.
You may notice feeling out of balance if you get distracted and don’t accept the upgrade the challenges are bringing us. In order to elevate your thinking and actions in the midst of hard challenges, it will be important to find more spaces of retreat and reflection, in addition to creating space in your life for silence.
By creating space for silence in our lives, we can integrate more of this way of being (allowing and accepting) in ourselves and thus our world.
We will be tasked with keeping an elevated mind, so we can elevate others.
The 7 number is associated with the 7th chakra or crown related to yogic philosophy. This chakra is associated with developing the capacity in ourselves to connect with a higher realm, connect with the mystical (like a spiritual upgrade that incorporates stillness, vastness and a link to the divine), or connect with something that is bigger than you.
Cultivating silence and a retreat for yourself will help us overcome fear and keep us connected to our soul/intuition/inner knowing.
The challenges we will be experiencing are here to support us in upgrading our soul and elevating our thoughts and behaviors.
If you are experiencing any form of resistance, stickiness, control, or hardship, it will be important to learn how to observe it at a deeper level. Observe it in the NOW. Allow the uncomfortableness by acknowledging it, leaning into it and just allowing it without letting it take you down a rabbit hole of negative thinking.
Be present with all that is and accept everything that comes up. In learning to accept all that is, we end up dissolving some of the uncomfortableness. In allowing it to be present in us, we begin to create a space inside ourselves that expands and allows it to teach us what we need to learn. This will elevate us.
You may ask, “How do I do that?” There are many meditation practices that support this way of being. It may even be as simple as acknowledging the difficulty and allowing your thoughts to do what they will while focusing on your breath, or focusing on a word that calms you, or having a mantra. It is a practice of putting your attention on a more elevated thought while letting the negativity and uncomfortableness be present at the same time.
With practice the elevated thoughts will win, and you will experience deep inner silence. It takes practice, so use the tools that keep you balanced and know our work this year is about allowing, accepting and being with what is in the moment. We are strengthening an inner muscle that will support us in navigating the challenges that lie ahead of us.
