How to Access Career Resources That Count
Career resources are any tools that support you in growing your professional life and career. This next quarter I will share key ideas and resources that support you in building a career that thrives. The resources will be tools for shifting your internal dialogue and thinking about your career, as well as external tactical tools to support you in making traction in your career.
Over the last 15+ years in my career as an Executive Recruiter and Professional Coach, it is clear with the clients I have worked with that both sides of the fence are just as important in putting attention on in order to move forward in their career. Many clients that come to me have as the initial focus the tactical external resources needed to brand, interview and land or navigate the job; inevitably, the internal infrastructure is the root of changing and creating the career moves we plan on the physical plane.
I have narrowed the resources down to a list of top 10 that I hope will support you in navigating your career.

- Letting go of expectations
External Resources:

I have found in my coaching practice and in my own life that being very specific with where I am putting my attention and scheduling it on the calendar, creating a system of my to do’s helps me stay on track.
For each item we cover over the next few months, be mindful of blocking out time to be present with the task at hand. It is great training for learning how to mono task instead of multi task. More clients are realizing the bad affects of too much adrenaline, and our ability to stay focused and effective.
Take this adrenaline test and see where you shake out. Please use it only as an awareness raising tool for where you want to begin to put your attention so you may remain calmer and clearer.
