The Power of the Pause
Summer is the perfect time to begin to allow and relax into the power of the pause. Many of us are in vacation mode, and the warmer weather allows us to enjoy the outdoors and engage more with those around us.
Imagine sitting on the beach and enjoying the sun, sand, and water β there is no agenda, and no need to control this space. Be in an allowing mode, relaxing, listening to the water, and permitting your senses to take everything in. This requires being present and being open.
The power of the pause teaches us to stop, breathe, take a moment to be present, listen to ourselves, and be open to what is best for us and best for those we are with in that moment.
The Impact of the Power of the Pause:
- Pausing gives not only you, but others around you, time to think and to respond.
- Holding back on being proactive teaches us to allow space, to be open, and to receive ideas and results.
- Not needing to always control outcomes; instead, pause and hold an intention for what you desire, then seeing what reveals itself.
How will you begin to incorporate this mindset and behavior in your daily life?
My Be Happy Now webinar is available on my YouTube and LinkedIn profile this month for those that are looking for a resource to support you in embracing and embodying this concept of putting attention on how good it feels to pause and respond instead of act and react.
I am in process of transitioning my mailing service to Substack for my subscribers to access my resources. Notice will be sent once the transition is complete. I look forward to hearing your feedback!
