What is Your Vibration and What is it Creating?
How we work with our thoughts is what impacts our vibration or energy. Our vibration is what ripples out to create our reality. Think of yourself as having a positive and negative charge. What charge do you want to experience? What charge are your thoughts creating? How are you experiencing life?
These questions will help you in becoming more aware of how you’re actually feeling, even about your mundane daily tasks.
You can’t get to happy from unhappy, but you have the power to change how you feel based on your thoughts. How you feel is a clue to if you are vibrating with a positive or negative charge. In order to be aware of ourselves as energy, it is important to be present with what is going on for us at all times verses just going through the motions and not really being present to how we are bringing ourselves to the task at hand.
In experiencing our daily tasks (i.e. washing the dishes, taking a walk, being with a loved one), we can actually allow the mundane tasks in our life to be transformed into experiences that vibrate happiness.
How so?
The next time you are washing the dishes, begin to notice how the water feels, how grateful you are to have easy access to water, how amazing it is that we can easily wash germs and debris from our dishes and our hands, how this allows us to enjoy a meal on a clean plate or drink a great cup of coffee in a mug we treasure. The act of eating and drinking in itself is an experience of love, bounty and gratitude.
I invite you into an experiment with yourself and your thoughts. Give yourself permission for one moment to be present with washing a dish, and notice what the action does to your thoughts. When you are present, you are no longer thinking about your to-do list, or the meeting you have to prepare, or how stressed you may be about something because you are directing your thoughts to being present with what is happening NOW, in the present moment.
Think about a tragedy you have experienced; for example, the fires we are surrounded by in various states. Seeing people lose everything they have and not knowing where they will live or what they will do next. To be present and really feel the heartache opens our heart to compassion and support those in need. When you are the one experiencing the tragedy, it gives you permission to feel the depth of your sadness and loss. To experience heartache provides emotional release. It opens you to a new perspective to access another part of yourself you may not have known you have. It strengthens resiliency, courage, and our ability to know ourselves deeper than what we take at face value.
When we can look at every moment as a gift, even the tragedies we open our hearts and minds to, elevate us to a higher vibration of love.
When we vibrate love, it impacts all those around us in a loving way.
Start with how you want to feel, and if your thought feels awful, change what you’re thinking to a thought that makes you feel great.
When you do this practice, you are making a choice to feel and to believe what is your real truth below the negativity verses focusing on the negative. What feels good is a frequency that supports you in being magnetic and moves you toward happiness.
Train your expectation by putting attention on the good instead of the bad. What resides in you and where you put your attention grows.
Everything is a vibration before it is a manifestation.
What will your choice be today for the experience you wish to have?
